African Exchanges Linkage Project (AELP)

The Casablanca Stock Exchange is a founding member of the African Exchange Linkage Project (AELP).

The AELP is a capital market integration project launched by the African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA), in collaboration with the African Development Bank (AfDB), to promote intra-African investment flows.

The objective of the AELP is to improve the depth and liquidity of African capital markets while creating more financing opportunities for companies seeking to grow and create jobs.

The project is supported by a $1 million technical assistance grant from the Korea-Africa Economic Cooperation Fund (KOAFEC), managed by the AfDB. 

The first phase of the AELP project will connect seven (7) fellowships covering fourteen (14) countries. The exchanges involved in the AELP are the following: Casablanca Stock Exchange, Egypt Stock Exchange, Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Mauritius Stock Exchange, Nairobi Stock Exchange, Nigeria Stock Exchange and BRVM (Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières).
