Innovation for greater financial inclusion in African countries

In conjunction with the Annual Meetings of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), taking place in Marrakech from October 9 to 15, the Casablanca Stock Exchange organized a conference on the afternoon of Monday October 9, in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation (MESRSI), the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakech.
 "Innovation for better financial inclusion in African countries" was the theme of the conference, which brought together Moroccan and international officials from the worlds of finance, higher education and scientific research.
With the participation of Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation; Ms. Nandini Sukumar, Managing Director of the WFE, Mr. Kamal Mokdad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Casablanca Stock Exchange and Mr. Mouha Taourirt, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Moroccan Stock Exchange. Mouha Taourirt, President of Cadi Ayyad University - Marrakech, the conference was an important opportunity to bring the scientific and academic world closer to the financial market, and thus promote financial inclusion through training, scientific research and innovation.
