The Casablanca Stock Exchange is a regulated market, on which listed financial instruments are publicly traded as defined by the laws and regulations in force.

The stock market plays a double role: on the one hand, it is a place of financing for companies, governments or local authorities by issuing shares or bonds, and on the other hand, it is an investment place for investors.

Being a regulated market, the Stock Exchange facilitates exchanges through the concentration of buy and sell orders, ensures equality and transparency between the participants and guarantees an instantaneous access to the market. The main missions of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, as manager of the stock market, revolve around three main aspects: the admission of securities to the Stock Exchange, the management of the quotation markets, the guarantee of proper execution of operations and market information.

The Casablanca Stock Exchange is a crucial financial market infrastructure. It has always put the quality of service, security and business continuity at the core of its concerns. It is triple certified: ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 27001 (Information Security) and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity).

The Casablanca Stock Exchange is one of the main stock markets in Africa and is an active member of the World Federation of Exchanges, the African Securities Exchanges Association and the Arab Federation of Capital Markets.
