The
mission of the Information Systems Division is to manage the Casablanca Stock
Exchange’s information system and thereby monitor its safety, durability and
efficiency.
The
Division’s main responsibilities are the following :
Managing
and monitoring the efficiency of the production process ;
Ensuring
the smooth running of information systems ;
Guaranteeing
consistency in information systems (data-processing) ;
Establishing
adequate procedures for monitoring and maintenance (hardware and software)
;
Developing
and maintaining information systems ;
Designing,
building and implementing the information architecture ;
Organising
the information systems’ control and monitoring procedures ;
Promoting
the use of IT ;
Ensuring
technological monitoring.
The
Information Systems Division is structured around three departments :
Management
and development of the Stock Exchange’s production and quotation system.
Management,
administration and running of the electronic quote-driven trading system
(NSC) and other current or future systems.
Management,
administration and running of the telecommunications networks (LAN, WAN and
internet).
